The cable and guidance information portal, or shortly the KLIP, is a web application for the purpose of preventing excavation of cables and pipes.

The KLIP does this by enabling better information flow between the parties involved in earthworks.

The KLIP has been operational since March 1 2007, and is managed by Information Vlaanderen (formerly AGIV).

The (Flemish) Cable and Lead Information Portal (KLIP) and the (Federal) Cable and Leading Information Reporting Point (KLIM) are linked together. As a result, plan applicants who use KLIP should not execute a plan application in KLIM.
