The GmlGeoX extension module extends ETF with additional capabilities:

  • Spatial indexing of features

  • Caching of feature geometries

  • Validation of feature geometries

  • Evaluation of topological predicates

The eENVplus Validation Service is an online tool for the validation of INSPIRE datasets.

It is freely accessible via web browser or via REST APIs.

It’s open source, built upon TEAM Engine, the official test harness used by the OGC compliance program (CITE), and the GML 3.2 (ISO 19136:2007) Conformance Test Suite, the free testing facility developed by OGC as part of the CITE.

It aims at giving the data providers a solid reference for the validation of their datasets against INSPIRE requirements.

Developed by OGC this is a web-server, tomcat application that provides an endpoint that accepts GML responses from WFS GetFeature requests. There are limitations if you want to test more than 500 polygons (crashed the service)

The Map Viewer of European Data Portal (http://www.europeandataportal.eu/) is based on map.apps. map.apps is a commercial software product of con terra. It is developed as a client solution that runs within the user’s browser. It is based on Esri’s JavaScript API thus being able to represent common data formats such as OGC WMS, Tiled Mapping Service as well as Open Street Map data.

This is the Geo-Harvesting component developed for the European Open Data Portal (http://www.europeandataportal.eu/).

Single entry point component for harvesting geospatial data from multiple Geoportals in different formats and from different APIs

The Open Data Bridge is a small stand-alone Java application which harvests metadata sets from OpenData catalogues (Ckan based) and OGC CSW catalogues, transforms them into ArcGIS Online items (http://bit.ly/1457Ve9) and publishes these items into ArcGIS Online. The current version of the Open Data Bridge tool supports the WMS, KML and CSV item type. The tool could be used for a single process (running as a batch script directly by the user)

Publish WFS services as Linked Data and as Web Sites using on-the-fly transformations

LDproxy is a tool that acts as a proxy layer on top of any (INSPIRE) WFS to expose GML in alternative formats to facilitate discovery and consumption in other communities.

The Apache JMeter™ application is open source software, a 100% pure Java application designed to load test functional behavior and measure performance. It was originally designed for testing Web Applications but has since expanded to other test functions.

Apache JMeter may be used to test performance both on static and dynamic resources, Web dynamic applications.
It can be used to simulate a heavy load on a server, group of servers, network or object to test its strength or to analyze overall performance under different load types.

The Apache HTTP Server Project is an effort to develop and maintain an open-source HTTP server for modern operating systems including UNIX and Windows. The goal of this project is to provide a secure, efficient and extensible server that provides HTTP services in sync with the current HTTP standards.

The Apache HTTP Server ("httpd") was launched in 1995 and it has been the most popular web server on the Internet since April 1996. It has celebrated its 20th birthday as a project in February 2015.
