The purpose of the INSPIRE validator is to help data providers, solution providers and national coordinators to check whether data sets, network services and metadata meet the requirements defined in the INSPIRE Technical Guidelines. The validator provides detailed test reports to help implementers understand how well their data, services, metadata or software solutions are doing (or where they need to improve).

ETF is an open source testing framework for validating spatial data, metadata and web services in Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDIs).

Spatineo Monitor is a web-based application for technical monitoring, service quality assessment, reporting and usage analytics of online Spatial Web Services. It helps both the data providers and the power data users in evaluating and improving the quality of the services they provide and rely on.

Planar Partition Repair takes a set of polygons and ensures that they form a valid planar partition, made of valid polygons and having no gaps or overlaps. It can be used as a validator, telling you about problems in individual polygons or in the planar partition, and also as an automatic repair tool, outputting a set of polygons that do form a valid planar partition. 

Developed by OGC this is a web-server, tomcat application that provides an endpoint that accepts GML responses from WFS GetFeature requests. There are limitations if you want to test more than 500 polygons (crashed the service)

The Server Version extends FME Server with the INSPIRE capabilities of the INSPIRE Solution Pack. The combination of this tools makes INSPIRE Workflows executable on FME Server and allows the user to schedule tasks, automatize the workflow and create powerful processes for automatic updates and validation of INSPIRE Data.

oXygen XML Developer was mainly used for creating XSD schemas for application schemas BuildingsExtendedCOre and BuildingsExtended2D. oXygen XML Editor was used as main tool for validation of data.
